He began his career at a lift rental business, performing basic tasks before gaining experience in machine repairs. Seeking to expand his skills, Justin moved to a larger company for advanced training and experience, ultimately joining Bercon as a Road Service Technician, bringing valuable hands-on expertise in on-site repairs.

Justin’s Commitment to Safety
Last spring, Justin quickly responded to an operator error on site, preventing potential injury. The operator had encroached on the safety envelope, causing the machine to lock out. Thankfully, the unit was near the ground, and Justin safely recovered it using auxiliary controls. He then took the time to coach the operator on staying within the safety envelope, using the live display, and double-checking settings before operation. A true example of safety leadership in action!
Justin’s Commitment to Client-Focused Excellence
When an operator reported an issue with a jib not rotating, Justin quickly identified the cause: the system was in 1,000-lb mode. He supported the client by sharing his knowledge, showing that he was there to resolve the issue. Demonstrating professionalism and commitment, Justin went above and beyond to ensure the client’s needs were met, embodying the very values that define Bercon’s dedication to exceptional service. A great example of a client-focused service leader!
